Who Are We
Gippsland Care Collective provides NDIS capacity building supports and allied health services in Bairnsdale and throughout East Gippsland. We operate within The Social Space (previously ESports Collective), offering something different - supports delivered through real community participation - but also traditional office-based services when that's what you need.
How We Got Here
Our Story
Gippsland Care Collective emerged from seeing what NDIS participants actually needed. To understand how we got here, check out our full story at The Social Space Collective website - what started as a gaming venue evolved into something bigger, and GCC is part of that evolution.
Practical and Flexible
How We Work
We're flexible. Your supports can happen at The Social Space during gaming sessions, D&D campaigns, or creative programs. Or in our office. Or in the community. You choose what works for you.
We focus on practical outcomes. Building skills you'll actually use. Developing independence at your pace. Helping you do more of what you want to do.
We're collaborative. If your current supports are working, we don't want you to change them. We're here to add options, not compete with what's already helping you.
Real Engagement, Real Independence
Our Approach
Independence is always the goal. Some participants will transition from supported participation to showing up on their own. Some will always need support. Both are completely valid.
We meet you where you are. Start with whatever support you need, work toward independence at your pace.
We build capacity through real engagement—not forced socialization or clinical environments. Gaming tournaments, Lego builds, karaoke sessions. Therapy that happens in spaces where you're already comfortable. Support that helps you participate in community, not separate from it.
Growing Our Team and Services
Where We're Headed
We're growing our allied health team and expanding services as staffing allows. We're building programs around what people actually care about—if you have an interest we're not serving yet, tell us. We might create it.
We're here for people who want something different, and for people who just want quality traditional supports delivered locally. Both matter.
